Founded in 2015 by Timothy Perkin in the tiny kitchen of his flat on the Gray’s Inn Road,
Gray’s Inn Kitchen is a London-based catering company with friendly, efficient and flexible
service at its heart.
We have grown since then and moved to a much larger kitchen and events space in Dalston.
Tim’s sister Emily joined the team in 2018, making it a family affair, as head baker and events manager.
Our influences range far and wide, benefiting from the team having lived in 12 different
countries between us, but ultimately Gray’s Inn Kitchen is dedicated to creating fresh,
inventive, seasonal and delicious dishes.
We believe that everyone of us has a key role to play in respecting and protecting our planet's future. We work closely with our chosen suppliers to ensure that all produce we use is of the best quality, welfare and is sourced responsibly (using certified sustainable guides, such as MSC to source fish, for example). All of our dishes are inspired by the seasons and are naturally 80% vegan/veggie.
Our food is all made to order, so this helps mitigate any potential food waste. Our packaging for shoot catering is totally compostable and we even have an electric van called Carmen Electra, so keep an eye out for us on the streets of Hackney!
